Learn about freediving history
Learn about freediving history, gear, safety, physics and physiology. We will have a short lunch break, then proceed to a private pool. Our pool time practice will consist of proper diving technique, safety procedures, and static apnea.
Day 2 we will meet at 8:30am for the open water portion of the course and final exam. You will need a mask, free diving fins, snorkel, and weight belt for the course. Kohala divers has 2 day freediving rentals available. (Day Two will be scheduled by phone, but is often the very next day).
Freediving equipment and weight belt available for rent or purchase at check in.
